Rob Draper, director
Rob Draper has been directing choirs for 22 years and this is his 20th year teaching and his 4th year at Independence High School. Choirs under Rob's direction have consistently won sweepstakes awards at UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest. His choirs have also competed and performed in contests and festivals throughout the state of Texas, the United States, and internationally.
Rob is a cum laude graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University where he studied with Dr. William Wyman, Boyd Bacon, Rene Ferrell, and Dr. Richard Grace. He is currently working on a Masters Degree in Education through the University of Texas.
Rob has an extensive performance history which includes professional theatre, opera, recording, and church music.
Rob lives in Prosper, TX with his wife Holly and children Abby and Jake.
